Based on glycol ethers, alkyl polyglycols and polyglycol esters. Ideally suited to use with all disk and drum brake systems, as well as motor vehicle clutch systems for which a synthetic brake fluid is prescribed. Special moisture scavengers help to prevent against the formation of steam bubbles. Liqui Moly DOT 5.1 brake fluid is also ideally suited to use in ABS brake systems.

Yes, this brake fluid can be used on cars or motorbike where brake fluid DOT 3 and DOT 4 are recommended. Always check the manufacturer's recommendation before use. NOTE: This brake fluid must not be used on cars or motorbikes where brake fluid DOT 5 is recommended!
Can I top up my car's brake fluid from another brand with LIQUI MOLY brake fluid?
Yes, this brake fluid is miscible and compatible with high-quality synthetic brake fluids of the same specification eg. DOT 5.1 with DOT 5.1. This product can also be used with all conventional brake fluid bleeding devices. However, this product is recommended to be used unmixed to ensure the optimal period of use.
