Mass Air Flow Sensor (MAF Sensor) is a piece of technology within your engine which tells your car’s computer (known as ECU) how much air is entering the engine. This is important as it allows your engine to regulate its performance and change the amount of air intake to keep your engine running in its best condition. Think of the air intake system as our nose and lung, and while the Mass Air Flow Sensor is the same as our brain that controls our breathing when we are sitting still or when exercising.
